How much does it cost to post a video on YouSchools.org?
You may post a recruitment video on YouSchools.org for FREE. Even if you do NOT post job listings, you may still post a School Profile and a video for each of your schools at no cost.

Will YouSchools.org produce our video?
No. YouSchools.org's policy is that videos be student-produced because we could never know your schools as well as you and your students. Additionally, this way, schools can keep costs down while engaging students in a fun and important project.

How long should our video be?
An effective TV commercial is :15 or :30 seconds long, a hit song 2-3 minutes. We recommend that videos run 3-4 minutes. The maximum length is 5 minutes and the maximum file size is 20MB gigabytes.

How often can we change our video?
As often as you like. YouSchools.org will run one video per school, but that particular video may be replaced as often as you wish. For instance, if your recruitment video is a Senior Project, you may have many worthy submissions that you would like to run alternately.

Do I need a Model Release Form to shoot a video?
Most schools provide a Model Release Form in order to gain permission to use photographs of individuals for publications, publicity, etc. If your school does not have a Model Release Form, feel free to download and use this release form.

How do I submit my school's video?
Save or encode your video file as a .FLV file or Flash file. This is dependent on your video creation software. If you do not have an encoder you may download one for here. The final format should be a 320x240 pixel JPG file. To upload a video, login into your YouSchools.org account, click "Manage Videos" then follow the instructions. For more detailed information, click on "Videos" in the menu bar.

How do I post a job?
Simply register your account, create a profile for the school to which you want to assign the job posting and then click "Create Job Posting. When you are done entering your job description, click "Activate" and you're done.

How will job seekers find my job posting?
On YouSchools.org job seekers are asked to select certain criteria such as job category, type, location, keywords, etc. Employers are asked to provide similar information when they post a job. Designed to be highly searchable, YouSchools.org will find all possible matches to the criteria you provide.

How will I receive responses?
You may specify exactly how you would like the job candidate to respond. If your instructions include an email address, that email address will link the job seeker directly to you.

May I edit my job description once it's posted?
YouSchools.org enables you to update job descriptions. Criteria from pull-down menus that are used to makes matches, however, cannot be edited once posted.

Do I have to post a job or can I just do a Candidate Search?
You can certainly just do a candidate search but remember Job Seekers visiting YouSchools.org are not required to register or post a resume to search available jobs. Not every Job Seeker visiting YouSchools.org will be found in a resume search so you should also post your positions.
